As you may (or may not) Know, I am using Sony and Fujifilm mirrorless cameras since a stretch of time … In this post I wanted to share with you what the Sony A7II, A7rII (previously owned), A6500, A7 IR (Converted to 590nm Infrared) and Fujifilm X-T2, can deliver on the catwalk.
Today, these cameras matured enough for being able to work extremely well in fashion photography. Believe it or not, but out of 3000 photos per session I barely have 100 Out Of Focus misses from the Sonys and Fujifilms ! The A6500 has an extremely large buffer: best among those, the X-T2 comes in second place, A7, A7II and A7rII comes in the last place with a annoyingly small buffer. The X-T2 and A6500 have the fastest AF performance, but when you know how the AF of the A7II, A7rII behaves, it delivers excellent results.
I used the Sony(s) with Sony FE70-200/4G, FE24-240/3.5-6.3, Zeiss Batis 85/1.8 and the Fujifilm with XF50-140/2.8WR and XF100-400/4.5-5.6WR
